The Ophthalmology Futures Forums were established in 2012 to fill a void with regard to industry- investor meetings specific for ophthalmology in Europe and Asia. The Forums focus on all aspects of global innovation in ophthalmology by connecting scientists, physicians, regulators, corporate leaders, venture capitalists and other investors who support the advancement of eye care.
Keith Barton is a Consultant in the Glaucoma Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and Honorary Reader at University College London’s Institute of Ophthalmology. He qualified in Medicine in Belfast, Northern Ireland, having also obtained an intercalated First Class Honours BSc in Medical Microbiology. Dr Barton completed his residency training at Moorfields Eye Hospital and fellowship training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami School of Medicine after which he was appointed to the Glaucoma Service at Moorfields in 1996, becoming director in 2005 for 6 ½ years. →More
Kuldev Singh is Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Glaucoma Service at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He received his MD and MPH degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and was a Dana Foundation Fellow at the Wilmer Eye Institute. Following residency training at the Casey Eye Institute, OHSU and a Heed Foundation Clinical Glaucoma Fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Dr. Singh joined the Stanford faculty in 1992. →More
